Malcolm Edwards
Growing up near Glasgow in the 1980s, hairstylist Malcolm Edwards discovered a new type of fashion magazine –The Face, Blitz and i-D, which shaped his radical approach to hair colour, texture and form. Moving to London, he worked with the leading fashion creatives and image-makers of the mid-1990s. His sources of inspiration range from the geometry of nature and indigenous tribes to artists and architects such as Bosch, Dalí, Gaudí and Gehry. He has created memorable looks for numerous luxury fashion houses, while his editorial work is regularly published in leading publications such as British, French and US Vogue, W Magazine and Beauty Papers.
