Tessa Hartmann CBE is an award-winning branding and communications expert with over 28 years’ experience in fashion, lifestyle and entertainment PR. Originally from Scotland, she set up the Scottish Fashion Awards 18 years ago and has worked tirelessly promoting new Scottish fashion talent. Hartmann was awarded an honorary doctorate from Glasgow Caledonian University for her contribution to the fashion industry and is President of The British School of Fashion in London. A mother of four, she is role-modelling what the world might look like with more women in charge. Having recovered from breast cancer in 2017, she is an ambassador for Cancer Research UK.
