Damian Christian is Managing Director and president of Atlantic Records and the current chairman of the BRIT Awards. Starting his career at RCA Records in 1987, he became the youngest ever director of promotions at MCA records in 1992, working with and helping to develop some of the biggest acts in the world. Christian has won more Music Week Awards than any other promotions professional in the history of the awards. He has worked with Nirvana, Black Grape, Hole, Aerosmith, Beck, The Stone Roses, No Doubt, Guns N’ Roses, Snoop Dog, Jay Z, James Blunt, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran among others.
