Jessica Albarn
Artist Jessica Albarn is known for her drawings and paintings of insects and wildlife, which often incorporate sacred geometry. Passionate about the plight of insects and creatures, she works with many conservation charities, including The Bumblebee Conservation Trust. She has also created an insect-friendly meadow in Devon for bees and local wildlife as well as her own research. Albarn’s multidisciplinary practice extends to filmmaking and printmaking, and she often explores materials such as clay, wax and honey in her dioramas. Notable projects include collaborations with fashion brand Helmut Lang, The Natural History Museum, V&A, Liberty’s London, and a book, Boy in the Oak, which she wrote and illustrated.
