Ted Cockle
Ted Cockle has worked in the music industry for over 25 years. A decade at Sony Music overseeing the output of George Michael and Jennifer Lopez and launching Shakira and Macy Gray led to 15 years at Universal Music, working with both Island Records and Virgin EMI. At the latter, he managed the recording careers of Queen, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Lewis Capaldi and others. In 2020, Cockle joined Hipgnosis Songs, owner of the catalogues of Neil Young, Blondie, Chrissie Hynde, Journey, Shakira, Leonard Cohen, Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake. He recently returned to his first love of working with emerging artists, founding Mussel Music Management.
