Moving from Australia to London in the late 1990s, Lyndell Mansfield quickly saw her reputation as a hair colourist and session stylist grow. With her distinctive style, she became the stylist of choice for clients such as Paloma Faith, Jess Glynne, Beth Ditto, Noomi Rapace, Noel Fielding and Frank Ocean. She also travelled to New York, Paris and Milan, working as a session hair assistant on Alexander McQueen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino and Louis Vuitton shows. Alongside her editorial work for British and Italian Vogue, i-D and Dazed & Confused, Mansfield contributed to campaigns for Burberry, Chopard, H&M, Joseph, Reiss, Anthropologie and Cacharel. She passed away suddenly on 1 October, 2021.
