Nolan Browne is Managing Director of Upsilon Gallery in Mayfair and hosts the podcast A Life Curated. Half-French, he was born in Bangkok to a diplomat father and art-collecting mother and was raised predominantly in New York, where his love of art was born. He has previously worked for TASCHEN, White Cube and Phillips Auction House. After being photographed by David Bailey in 2020, he joked that one day he would love to have his portrait displayed at the National Portrait Gallery. With Zoë Law’s photograph of him, based on Irving Penn’s portrait of Picasso, this has happened sooner than he imagined!
