Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist Sharleen Spiteri is lead singer and founding member of one of the UK’s biggest bands in recent decades, Texas. Since their debut in 1989 with ‘I Don’t Want a Lover’, the band has sold more than 40 million records and released ten studio albums including three number ones and 13 top-10 singles. In 2023, Texas celebrated their 34-year legacy with the release of the number-one album ‘The Very Best Of, 1989–2023’ and a standout performance on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage. They also embarked on an arena tour of the UK.
