Pam Hogg

Fashion designer Pam Hogg is known for her unconventional and flamboyant creations. Although self-taught in fashion, she studied at the Glasgow School of Art and Royal College of Art in London before launching her first collection in 1981. Her career, shaped by the post-punk scene of the mid-1980s, has spanned both fashion and music. In the 1980s and 1990s, she formed her bands Doll, Hoggdoll (supporting Blondie) and The Raincoats. Since returning fully to fashion in the 2000s, she has received numerous awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Scottish Fashion Council and the Great Scot Award. In 2016, she was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Glasgow and commissioned to design the Brit Awards’ Winner’s Trophy.
